Just a few short days until our wedding. We cannot wait to see everyone and celebrate this happy occasion with you all. Below is an idea of the schedule of activities for Friday and Saturday. We will provide you with maps of the area once you arrive. Friday 5/4/12 10:30am Bridesmaids Brunch for Bridesmaids and family (31 Barn Inn Road, Lakemont, GA) 1pm-3pm Easy Hike- Everyone is welcome! Meet at Lake Rabun Pavilion (1757 Lake Rabun Road, Lakemont, GA) 4pm Rehearsal for wedding party at the Lake Rabun Pavilion 5:30pm Rehearsal Dinner for wedding party and family at the Barn Inn (31 Barn Inn Road, Lakemont, GA) Dinner suggestions for other guests- Louie's on the Lake (local pizza/Italian joint located at 1659 Lake Rabun Road, Lakemont, GA http://www.louiesonthelake.com/menu.html) or Universal Joint (burgers and such located at 109 North Main Street, Clayton, GA http://ujclayton.com). Both places are the definition of casual dining. 8pm Meet and Greet at the Universal Joint in Historic Downtown Clayton, GA. (options) Tennis at the Kingwood Resort Golf at the Kingwood Resort Hiking (many options for hiking from kid-friendly to strenuous)- maps will be provided to out of town guests Relaxing at the Kingwood Spa 4pm Wedding Ceremony Begins! 5pm-9ish Reception Sunday 5/6/12 We encourage you to explore! Some area activities include hiking, hanging out by the lake, Tallulah Gorge State Park, Tiger Mountain Vineyards, golf, tennis, or spa day at Kingwood Resort, zip lining, and biking.
